Looking Forward to Fun Times!

It's been a very routine week for us Minnesotans. :) (hence the lack of posts) Our nights have normally consisted of dinner and playing Rummikub until bedtime. We're hooked!

I am so excited for the next several weekends! Tomorrow night, we are going to the Minnesota State Fair to see my favorite group...the Goo Goo Dolls! This will be my 3rd time to see them (yes I'm a groupie) and Michael's first. You can imagine how excited he must be. haha Then we might go back on Saturday to check out the fair! It is a VERY big deal here!

Next weekend, my parents and Kat, Jim & little Jacob are coming up for my bday weekend! We're so looking forward to seeing family again and having some new visitors!

I've met a new friend at work named Becky. She's my age and works in HR in my business unit. She's really fun and we've had lunch a few times together. Michael and I are supposed to get together with her and her boyfriend one weekend in September. So we are very excited about the opportunity to hang out with new friends! (Finally!!)

THEN....sometime in September our friends Jared & Amber may get to come visit. And then, my Grandpa will be coming up in October to visit us and his good friend Howard that lives about 2 1/2 hrs away in Wisconsin!

I have realized that the past few quiet/slow weekends have made me really miss home and all of you there. So I am so excited to have lots of fun weekends to look forward to! :) So thanks for reading this post of my calendar events...makes me even more excited to type it all out! :)

p.s. For those of you wondering, I have seen the group of 3 wild turkeys alongside the freeway several days this week. so wierd....
