Family Fish Fry

Last weekend, we went to my Grandpa's house in East Texas. We had a fish fry on Saturday to celebrate some family time with my dad's two cousins that came to visit from Atlanta and Santa Fe.

We had a wonderful time visiting with my extended family - they are such a blessing and always make me smile! My dad is one of six kids, so there can be quite the crowd...I think there were 45 of us there on Saturday! Two of my uncles did a fish fry for dinner. We had fried fish, hushpuppies (which are fried balls of cornbread for my MN friends!), french fries and lots of yummy sides and desserts.

It was great to just sit and talk with family since I knew Joseph was in good hands with my mom all day! ;) And Joseph had fun playing with the other babies and swinging on the swing set!

That night we drove to Tyler and spent the night with my oldest sister and her family. We had a really nice visit and went out for a nice lunch the next day after church before heading home!

I know I've said it a lot...but these are totally the types of events that I am SO happy that we can now attend since we've moved back to Texas!

And of course the fish fryers and "supervisors"!

Fun times!
