Busy week

After a very hard week at work, we had a nice relaxing weekend with gorgeous weather!
Friday night, we couldn't quite figure out where we were though! We ate dinner at Chili's. There were several items on the menu that had "Texas" as part of the name. There was a picture of a TX flag on the wall, and several other TX signs all over the place. Then when we left we got on the freeway and got behind a suburban with a TX license plate! Kinda made us stop and have to remember exactly which state we were in! Of course Michael made me speed up to get just the right distance in front of them so they could see my Texas A&M Former Student sticker. :)

Saturday we played golf with my friend Becky and her boyfriend Craig. It was actually really fun! I did a bit better at golf this time than I did the last time. But after about 7 holes, I was ready to be finished. Becky and I didn't play too competitively b/c normally we were too busy talking about each others outfits, her sparkly shoes, work, etc. haha After the first 9 holes, Michael and Craig decided to play another 9 holes, so Becky and I ran some errands. It was really fun to have some friends here to get together with!

This week I will be working at our annual recognition meeting downtown...I've been working on this meeting since I started so I'm quite ready for it to be finished! I will have to stay at the hotel, but I think Michael will come down and stay with, so at least I will have some company.
Michael has a pretty important meeting this week for one of the programs he is working to develop for his business unit. So, it looks to be a busy week for the Z's!
