Adios!

We are headed off to Cancun tomorrow morning! And yes, it's 12:35 and as usual I'm still up with my last minute procrastinator self. :)

Quick update - as of Tuesday night, Lauren & Luke (Michael's sister and her hubbie) are going with us! They will meet us there on Sunday. Then we will all come back on Saturday! It will be so fun to have them with us!

We're super excited and I THINK I have everything packed!

Arboretum

Saturday, we decided to go to the MN Arboretum - which is literally probably 2 miles from where we live. We were thinking things would be all bloomed - but we were wrong. The crabapple trees were only about half way bloomed. The tulips were still waking up and even some of the azaleas were still trying to figure out what season it was. Bummer! (especially since we paid $14 to get in!) But it was fun nonetheless. :) It was quite chilly on Saturdy - high was only 58 but it was terribly windy - burrs!

It was a fun day together though and we did get a few good shots in front of the trees that were fully bloomed!

Using the timer balancing on another tree. We tried a second shot but then the wind blew the camera off the tree and it rolled down the flower bed. We figured it was time to call it a day.

Dinner & Games

We had a really fun Friday night! We had 6 of our friends over to our place. Michael grilled fajitas and then we played Catch Phrase and Last Word. Such a fun time! We still can't believe how blessed we have been here with all the friends we have made!

We always play girls vs boys when we play games - and just about alway send up in some sort of debate about the rules! haha I took the funniest video of one of the "discussions" - it cracks me up but there is one not so nice word in it so I'll have to refrain from posting it. ;) So at least Michael and I are not the only 2 competitive people out there. hehe
