Happy Easter to you all! I hope everyone had a joyous day!
For Easter this year, we went to Temple to see Michael's family. Everyone was there which was nice. We also had the pleasure of celebrating my father-in-law's 60th birthday on Saturday! We went to Jimmy's favorite restaurant which is a neat little rustic place out in the country. We had a great lunch and then headed back to their house for the rest of the party - cake, gifts, and lots of nice time to visit and watch the kids all play together. It was really special to be able to celebrate Jimmy's birthday. It was also really fun to see our 3 nephews interact with Joseph more now that he can respond and smile and grab at them!
After the birthday party, we also had an Easter egg hunt for the 4 boys. It's funny to think that this is Joseph's 2nd Easter and he isn't even 1 year old yet! Last year he was only 1 week old, so he and I didn't get to attend Mass, so it was wonderful to be there this year! Mass was great on Sunday and then we headed back to Faith & Jimmy's for a yummy Easter dinner. It was a great weekend and we are so thankful for the gift of our Joseph, our wonderful families, and most of all the resurrection of our Lord!
Here are pictures from the weekend....I did something wierd when uploading them so they are kinda layed out different.
