This past weekend, we had the joy of introducing Andrew to the rest of my family!
Friday night, my sister Kristina and her kids came into town and spent the night; unfortunately Oscar had to work so he didn't get to come this time. The kids were SO excited to meet Andrew. They were all so sweet with him and took turns holding him and snuggling with him. Joseph of course had a blast playing with all his cousins! It was so great getting to sit and talk with Kristina a while. She held Joseph in the cross of her legs and he was so content like that for the longest time and eventually drifted off to sleep. I told her she may not be able to leave! :) We also took the kids all to the park that afternoon since it was such a pretty day and Andrew did pretty good on his first park outing. He stayed nice and cozy inside his stroller all closed up!
Kristina's family left Saturday evening and then late that night, my sister Katherine and her family arrived! Jacob, Luke and Sarah were excited to see Andrew the next morning when we got up and couldn't believe how little he was. It was cute all the questions that the kids asked (can he crawl yet, does he have teeth yet, how do I give him milk, etc). :) Michael and Jim had a good time bbqing and playing dominoes the majority of the weekend! We went to the park on Saturday but it was quite windy that day. The next day was cooler so Kat took the kids herself while I stayed back with Andrew and the guys. It was also fun that Monday night Kat and I got to watch the Bachelor finale together! It meant staying up quite late for me - but it was worth it. :) We took turns holding Andrew so that he would stay asleep during the finale - haha!
It was so wonderful to share our new love with my family!
