Last weekend, my brother in law and I did a little switcharoo! He flew up to spend all weekend watching March Madness basketball with Michael, so I flew down and had a weekend with the fam in Dallas!
I had a SUPER early flight on Friday, so I was in Dallas by 8:15am - nice and early! My oldest sister Kristina was already in town with her 3 kiddos so we spent a nice morning just all talking and playing with the kids. Then I went to see my friend Carrie for the afternoon - my best friend from high school! She just had her first baby last month - little Brooke! Oh goodness was she a cutie! It was really nice to catch up with Carrie and see her sweet little girl!

Then my parents got in later that day! Saturday, my parents kept all the kids and my sisters and I went for some girl time. We went and got pedicures and then to lunch at this cute super girly place. It was such a nice and relaxing time - and nice to have time just the 3 of us. One lady in the nail place even asked if we were triplets...hehe. (normally, they think my sisters are twins and think I'm some random friend...so I was happy to finally look like i'm part of the group! haha)
My dad turns 60 on Saturday - so we went to a birthday dinner on Saturday night to a place called War & Love in Texas. Yummies! Nothing like a good ol' Texas chicken fried steak! Mmm! We surprised Dad with his gift of an 8 minute drive in a race car at Texas Motor Speedway - one of his items on his "bucket list"! :) Happy Early Birthday Dad!! I LOVE YOU!
Sunday, my flight wasn't until 4:45 - so it was nice to not have to rush off. I tried to pack some warm air to bring back with me, but didn't work out too well. ;)
It was such a great weekend! Thanks fam for such a fun time! I miss yall! As usual, I did an awful job of getting my camera out. I got a few pics of the kiddos though - was able to get everyone except Gabriel...he is getting so big now at 5 1/2!
