This weekend we had the honor of being in the wedding of our good friends Becky and Brendon. Becky was my first friend in Minnesota and we actually knew her before she even started dating Brendon. So, it's been neat to see them start dating and now get married a couple of years later.
Friday night we had the rehearsal and dinner. Everything went good except the crazy weather. Once we got to the dinner and go inside, it opened up and just poured! In fact the tornado sirens starting going off! No one really did anything because they sound the sirens here a little more liberally than they should. Michael and I were a bit nervous though. :P
Saturday was the wedding and it was gorgeous. Becky looked so pretty and they both seemed really happy. The reception was a nice sit down dinner with dancing after. I must say that Michael and I were the only ones two stepping to the country songs and we even got a compliment on our dancing! (which is funny because we aren't the best two steppers ever, but apparently in MN we are! hehe) My feet are still throbbing today!
In other news, we are looking forward to a short week because Michael's parents are coming on Wednesday for a week long visit! We are so excited!
