Poor Zoomy

I'm sad to report that Mr. Zoomy (my car) will have to make a trip to the body shop tomorrow for repairs. :(

The Friday we left for Texas, Michael had taken my car to work after he dropped me off. He was parked on the top of the parking garage and it was a SUPER windy day. When he got in the car to come pick me up that afternoon, there was a note on the car that said the wind had caught this girls car door and blew it open and it hit our passenger door.

The exact same thing happened to Michael a few months back on another super windy day and he left a note, but the lady called and said no big deal at all. We thought maybe we should give this girl a break but the more we looked at it, the more we realized the passenger door really was dented up. Plus, it has black marks all over it. And seeing as Zoomy is only a year and a half old, we decided we would call the girl and tell her we wanted to get it fixed. I felt awkward to call but she was super nice and had already called her insurance company.

So, her insurance will pay for all the repairs as well as my rental car while it's getting fixed. Poor Zoomy now has an imperfection and will have to go under the knife, but hopefully in a few days he will be as good as new! :)
