Well, it's May! And that means we are less than 2 weeks away from moving into our new townhome! Wahoo!! We are literally just counting down and can't wait to get into our new place. My sister asked me the other day if I felt sad to be leaving the apartment, and honestly I really don't. I mean it's been a great place and there are things I really liked about it. Plus, there are the memories from when we first moved here a year ago. But...we both just feel so happy and excited about the place we are moving to that it makes it all worth it. Plus it will just be nice to be out of an apartment building!
Unfortunately, moving starts with the dreadful packing process. Ugggg.... We were so spoiled when we moved to MN b/c Cargill paid for people to come and pack our entire house. And since we were busy with trying to see family and friends as much as possible before we left, we really didn't spend any time going through our junk before moving. So...we are trying to do a bit of that now. We currently have 4 bags of stuff to take to Good Will and our piles of trash to take out to the dumpster are so large we have to squeeze between it and the door to get out! But we are making good progress!
This weekend was absolutely gorgeous. We finally have a week with forecasted highs in the mid to upper 60s every single day! It's about TIME!!!! Today was just wonderful....sunny and about 70 degrees with a cool breeze.
