Milestones

This Memorial Day a couple of weekends ago marked another milestone for the Zajicek family.

Memorial Day marked 3 years that we have been living in Minnesota. We’ve now lived more of our married life in Minnesota than we have in Texas. That’s so strange to me and even crazier how fast time flies! The Memorial Day also marked 2 years since we’ve lived in our current townhome. Believe it or not, this is officially the longest we’ve lived in one home!

When we first got married, we lived in our apartment for one year and then moved (on Memorial Day) to our house in Humble (loved that little house). We had so fun living in our first house and took much pride in installing so many things ourselves since it was brand new. I think our greatest accomplishment were the beautiful flower beds Michael built in the backyard. We had so much fun planting flowers and watching everything grow! We always thought we would be there for 5-7 years but on year 2 is when we moved up to Minnesota.

We lived our first year in MN in an apartment. It was nice but we were both glad to get out of there. Then we moved into our current townhome – which is home number 4 for us in almost 6 years! We still really miss being in a house and look forward to the day when we move back to TX and get to buy again. But in the meantime, we are enjoying our townhome and enjoy being renters with little responsibility. :)

So now we continue to put our trust in God that he will lead us to where He needs us to be and patience and open minds to accept His will for us!
