We enjoyed showing Grandma Springer our new house and were so happy she was able to come with Faith & Jimmy. They all enjoyed playing with Joseph and he was happy to see his Grandma & Grandpa Z again! It's so great to be back within driving distance from our families!
During a couple of Joseph's naps and at night, us girls played several rounds of Sequence and got dominated by Grandma Springer. It was so fun to play games again! Michael did a yummy bbq of pork chops and I made my favorite chocolate peanut butter oat bars. Definitely a good dinner with even better company.
Sunday, we went to our third church to try. This church was actually the church that we went to our first year of marriage because it is close to our old apartment we lived in. It's about a 20 minute drive from our house, but after going on Sunday we both felt like this seems like the church for our family. It was neat to be back at the same church after all these years! They have a big moms group so tomorrow I'll be going to a new member breakfast to see about getting involved with the Tiny Tots play group.
Thanks again to Michael's parents and Grandma for coming down for my early birthday - you guys are so sweet and we love you!
