Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving 2010! I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday!

We had a very nice Thanksgiving. We had a big cold front and snow/sleet storm move in on Wednesday, so our high on Thanksgiving was 15 - burr! It was sunny and pretty though with the fresh snow.

We had a big breakfast and enjoyed a quiet morning. Then we got things ready and had Thanksgiving dinner with Heather and Jim and Jim's parents at his parents house. We had quite a feast - turkey, stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and spinach salad. It was so yum! Then later once we made room in our tummies, we had some delicious pumpkin pie and apple caramel pie with homemade ice cream. It was a very nice day and we're so thankful that Jim's parents invited us to spend the afternoon with them!

Here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving day!

Updated pic of what things look like here - the snow on Wednesday was very wet so it was so pretty the way it stuck to all the trees
Me & Heather - our first belly shot together! She is due on Christmas Day! :)

Our sweet friends

We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day. I could go on and on (and on) but here are a few things I'm so thankful for.....

-Being a Catholic Christian and for the way God has been always by our side and giving us countless blessings
-My incredible husband and our sweet baby boy who we can't wait to hold!
-Our wonderful parents, brothers and sisters and precious little people on both sides and all our families! Their support and prayers mean the world to us!!
-Our amazing friends - both back in Texas and here in Minnesota
-Our jobs, our home, the clothing we have to wear and the food we have to eat
-The sight of watching our sweet baby boy's heart beating on the ultrasound
-The way I look down at my stomach and each week it gets bigger and bigger
-The opportunity to live in MN and all the experiences we've had
-Our health, our struggles and our blessings
-The beautiful sunshine after a snowy day

-And for a more light hearted one....yesterday after eating a huge Thanksgiving dinner, I was very thankful for stretchy maternity pants! :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone & God bless!
