Faith Formation

I've decided to volunteer at my church to co-teach a Faith Formation class! Faith Formation is basically the Sunday school program - but at our church it is actually on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:15pm. I will be co-teaching with a girl named Kate that actually joined our young adults group a couple of weeks ago. I only met her the one time but she seems really nice. We decided to teach 2nd grade - I really like that age.

I went last week and met with the director of the program to get all my materials for the class. She even showed me the classroom we would be in - it's very cute. Comes with a fun little colorful rug to sit on and everything! There is a Catholic school at my church so it's one of the classrooms in the school.

I've never done anything like this before - so I'm a bit nervous. But I feel very excited about the opportunity and am really looking forward to teaching the kids! I'm sure I will have some pretty good stories once classes start on October 1.
