Since we had never been before and didn't know what to expect, we didn't take the kids' swimsuits unfortunately. But, we at least took an extra change of clothes just in case...which is a good thing we did!
The park unfortunately was in full sun and a bit too big kiddish for our little ones. So once the kids discovered the fountains, we stayed there the rest of the time until lunch! At first they all started off real slow by just dipping their toes in the water. But it didn't take them too long until they realized just how fun it was and they were all drenched head to toe!!! And our lack of planning meant we didn't have a towel at all. We shared a burp cloth I had in my diaper bag to dry off the kids before changing their clothes, haha!
I have to say it was actually kinda fun to just let the kids do what they want and get drenched in their clothes. They were so happy and had a blast! However, Lauren and I do plan to go a little more prepared with swimsuits and swim shoes next time! ;)
Luckily I could just take Andrew's shorts off and let him run around in his onesie
Joseph starting off slow by dipping his toes in
Kyle and Andrew are in the background. They definitely were braver (and wetter!) before Joseph and Annabelle!
Getting wet!
Joseph had so fun trying to figure out where the water would pop out of next
And there goes Joseph and Annabelle to become completely soaked :)
So many smiles!
