Hi everybody - it's Joseph again! I'm here to give you my 3 1/2 month update! For starters, Mommy took me to Target yesterday to get my 3 month pictures taken. I behaved so well during the photo session, but I wasn't in a super smiley mood. I think because I had just woken up and I was in a new place with lots of lights and new things that I had to check out. Mommy got a couple of good poses though. The picture above is of me in my little outfit I wore at my pictures!
Mommy seems to think I've changed a lot in the last month. I've learned to put myself to sleep for my naps! Mommy stands nearby and helps me with the pacifier. She turns on the sound machine to the ocean waves and it sure makes me sleepy!
Over the last week or two, I would randomly get this pain that hurt really bad and I would burst into tears. Mommy and Daddy sure seemed worried when I would do this. But I think after they saw me drooling a lot and starting to put all my toys in my mouth that they thought I may be teething already. Mommy took me into the doctor just to make sure it wasn't a sore throat or ear ache, but sure enough Dr. Ewasiuk could feel my first tooth! She told mommy I was definitely an early teether! Apparently I'm going to take after my cousins Jacob, Luke and Sarah and be an early teether! Thank goodness Daddy bought me some teething toys at Target last weekend!
Oh, and at the doctor's office, the nurse weighed me and I now weigh 14 lbs, 14 oz! (I weighed 13lbs 7 oz at my 2 month appt) I am learning to turn on my side from my back. My silly shoulder gets in the way though and is preventing me from getting to my tummy. I'm determined though, so stay tuned.
