A few things I learned today since the low was -7 and high was 8:
1. My car temperature display does show negative temps on the outdoor temp display.
2. Mr. Zoomy (my car) makes his very own wierd noises after a VERY cold start and was not a fan of finally switching into 3rd gear once we did start going.
3. Heated car seats are the greatest invention ever.
4. Driving on black ice - not a fan
5. When your free Kashi granola bar sample finally arrives in the mail, don't let it sit overnight in the mailbox and then all day in your freezing car. Otherwise, your free sample of a CHEWY granola bar turns into a block of hard nuts and granola that won't bend at all.
Here are some pictures of our Christmas tree by the way. We actually put it up the Saturday after Thanksgiving but I just haven't posted it yet. We got it from the tree lot at our church where all the money goes to the Catholic school there. We have both agreed that it is our favorite tree we've ever had! It's just beautiful - perfect size, perfect height, no gaping holes - just perfect for the Z's!
Putting on the lights
Hard to see, but trust me - it's pretty

Shot with the flash - notice the Texas ornament at the top! :)
