Michael and I were both off work for Good Friday. And it is a good thing! We got probably 3-4 inches of snow yesterday and woke up to more snow today! It is quite bizarre to have so much snow in the middle/end of March!
The good thing is that it doesn't create too much of a mess because it doesn't stick to the roads since we get into the mid 30s every day. It is really pretty though so we got some good pics of it!
On a different note, I hope everyone has a very blessed Easter! I love the Easter season and always love the anticipation of Easter Sunday after a long and sacrificing lent season! But whenever I think about how hard it is for me to go without sodas and cookies for 6 weeks, I remember how much Jesus went through for me....and I figure it is the least I can do!
We remain so thankful for Jesus' sacrifice for us. I am honored to have a God that loves me so much he would send his son to die for our sins...so that we may have a chance to be with him in Heaven. May God fill your hearts with his awesome love and peace on this Easter day! God bless!
View yesterday morning (probably looks like all our other snow pics, but is still wierd to see in March! :)
all the trees looked so pretty all loaded up with the wet snow!

Snowed in! Snow was piled up on our little balcony - you can see with the screen door opened.

We walked around behind our complex where all the trees are.

Here's a little video of the snow - sorry for the wind noise the whole time!
