The week before Christmas, we went to the mall to see Santa! I had been trying to explain to Joseph who he is and stress how nice he is in hopes to eliminate any Santa scares. ;) So the night before, I told Joseph we needed to write a letter to Santa to tell him what toys he wants on Christmas Day. So I wrote it for Joseph and told him what he wanted (haha). Then he colored on it and we put it in an envelope for Santa. We also included a little Christmas tree that we made as a little Christmas craft one day. And Momma decided to mail Santa the Christmas tree that was the crooked one because apparently Momma isn't so great at freehand drawing trees!
We went to the mall the next day and there was only one person in line for Santa - I couldn't believe it. So we mailed the letter to Santa in the big red Macy's mailbox and then went for our turn with Santa. The boys did great!! Andrew had just woken up so was still a little out of it but neither boy cried! Joseph was very shy but very interested in Santa as well. It was really cute!
Each year I have gone I remember all over again how insanely expensive it is for a picture with Santa, but the memories and the progressive pictures each year are totally worth it!

| Joseph was 8 months old here. Kinda fun to compare him to Andrew in the top picture at 10 months. |
