Snow

What a wierd winter huh?! All you people in TX have had one crazy winter with your crazy snow last week! I have to say (knock on wood) that temperature wise this winter, it has by far been the best one out of the 3 winters we have had in Minnesota. December was really cold with sub-zero temps, but January and Feb (so far) have been pretty decent with highs in the mid 20s.

Last week, we got about 10 inches of snow over the course of a couple of days. Our deck out back gets covered pretty good since snow gets blown up and it just stays on the deck. So with this big snowfall, it really piled on!

So a while back, Michael had moved the little charcoal grill onto the top of a mound of snow so that we could grill hot dogs with some friends one night. (apparently the gas grill just isn't the same?) So here are a few progression pics showing our tiny charcoal friend just disappear.

This was the day a few weeks ago when Michael shoveled a path to the gas grill. Notice the snow level and how you can actually see the gas grill.

The start of the snow fall. Going....

Going....

Gone! The charcoal pit is the little bump in the snow on the right.

Snowed in! So much for our path to the gas grill!

The snow mound from the plows that covers our grassy median in the cul-de-sac. I've backed up into it quite a few times because there just isn't much street left at this point!

This weekend we had a super foggy night and when that happens, the fog freezes onto the trees. So pretty!
