Arboretum

Saturday, we decided to go to the MN Arboretum - which is literally probably 2 miles from where we live. We were thinking things would be all bloomed - but we were wrong. The crabapple trees were only about half way bloomed. The tulips were still waking up and even some of the azaleas were still trying to figure out what season it was. Bummer! (especially since we paid $14 to get in!) But it was fun nonetheless. :) It was quite chilly on Saturdy - high was only 58 but it was terribly windy - burrs!

It was a fun day together though and we did get a few good shots in front of the trees that were fully bloomed!
In front of a crabapple tree
There were geese all under the trees - they probably thought it was too stinkin cold to be in the water!
In front of the Lilac - smelled SO good! (also triggered Michael's allergies for the next 3 hours) :\

Using the timer balancing on another tree. We tried a second shot but then the wind blew the camera off the tree and it rolled down the flower bed. We figured it was time to call it a day.
