Basically it is a short parade they do every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. All the floats are completely covered in Christmas lights as well as the people who are walking in the parade! We planned to go this first weekend in December before it got "too cold"...but "lucky" us, we had the coldest temps of the season so far. The high yesterday was 18, so it was quite chilly. But luckily we layered up and the parade was pretty short, so it wasn't too bad. And, our friend Heather made a big thermos of hot chocolate so that helped too!
After the parade, we walked a couple of blocks to this area downtown that had lots of pretty nights! Definitely got me in the Christmas spirit!
