We had a very nice Thanksgiving. We had a big cold front and snow/sleet storm move in on Wednesday, so our high on Thanksgiving was 15 - burr! It was sunny and pretty though with the fresh snow.
We had a big breakfast and enjoyed a quiet morning. Then we got things ready and had Thanksgiving dinner with Heather and Jim and Jim's parents at his parents house. We had quite a feast - turkey, stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and spinach salad. It was so yum! Then later once we made room in our tummies, we had some delicious pumpkin pie and apple caramel pie with homemade ice cream. It was a very nice day and we're so thankful that Jim's parents invited us to spend the afternoon with them!
Here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving day!
We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day. I could go on and on (and on) but here are a few things I'm so thankful for.....
-Being a Catholic Christian and for the way God has been always by our side and giving us countless blessings
-My incredible husband and our sweet baby boy who we can't wait to hold!
-Our wonderful parents, brothers and sisters and precious little people on both sides and all our families! Their support and prayers mean the world to us!!
-Our amazing friends - both back in Texas and here in Minnesota
-Our jobs, our home, the clothing we have to wear and the food we have to eat
-The sight of watching our sweet baby boy's heart beating on the ultrasound
-The way I look down at my stomach and each week it gets bigger and bigger
-The opportunity to live in MN and all the experiences we've had
-Our health, our struggles and our blessings
-The beautiful sunshine after a snowy day
-And for a more light hearted one....yesterday after eating a huge Thanksgiving dinner, I was very thankful for stretchy maternity pants! :)
Happy Thanksgiving everyone & God bless!

Um, you forgot your friends in Kansas. :)
Isn't the best part about being pregnant not having to suck your stomach in after you eat a lot? Okay, maybe not the best part, but it ranks pretty high up there!
I'm glad y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Again, thanks for the baby bump update. It is so cute to see you grow!
You look beautiful sister! So thankful for you and mikey- and for that growing baby boy ! Love you! Kristina
Haha, I totally ditto Amber's comment about not ever having to suck in your tummy!
