So on Christmas Day afternoon, we headed to my parents house. My sister Katherine was there with her family as well. The kids were all excited to see each other. After a delicious turkey dinner, we did Christmas presents and had such a blast. Joseph loves opening gifts and just kept asking for more and more. It was such a beautiful day to spend together!
My sister Kristina had her in-laws all at her house for Christmas, so the next day we drove to her house in Tyler and spent the afternoon there and had a big dinner with everyone. The kids had fun jumping on the trampoline, watching movies together, and playing with all their new toys! We had a great dinner and fun conversation with everyone.
Friday afternoon, we then headed to Temple for Christmas with Michael's family on Saturday. Another great day with family, lots of fun gifts and great food to eat! It was nice having all the family together and Michael's two grandparents were there as well! Joseph and our nephew Noah (7 yrs old) were cute little buddies too...Joseph kept calling him "Noey", so Noah decided he was going to call him Joey! haha!
We headed back to Houston that Sunday and wrapped up what was such a great Christmas season. The holidays feel like they have a new and different meaning each year now that our boys keep getting older and we get to share these times with them in new special ways. And then to share that with both of our families too is just an incredible blessing!
