The last day of our week (Friday) was the 4th of July. It definitely was a LOT more crowded at the beach that day and it was certainly a different type of crowd. That night though, we got to enjoy tons of fireworks sitting on our balcony. We could see the fireworks all the way down in Destin, about 10 miles away. Then there were all the people on the beach between Miramar Beach where we were and Destin. So we just saw gobs of fireworks for as far as we could see and it was SO pretty and a really fun night.
Saturday morning, we got all packed up and began the long journey home. We left around 8:30am and got home around 6:15pm. A little bit shorter of a drive on the way home but we were definitely ready to get out of the car!
We're so thankful for such a fun week and for the time to spend with some of Michael's family. And we were blessed once again with safe travels! What a great trip!

Oh girl! Such a fun vacation yall had. You got some great pictures. Love all the sand creations by your artistic hubby and family. So cool!
